After the Viennese Kunsthistorisches Museum and the 53rd
Venice Biennale, works from the collection of the Stella Art Foundation will be
on show in Thessaloniki under the general title Moscow-Thessaloniki-2009 in the context of the Second Thessaloniki
Contemporary Art Biennale.
The Central exhibition of the Moscow-Thessaloniki-2009
program entitled Subjective Visions/Works
from the Collection of the Stella Art Foundation is held at the
Thessaloniki Cultural Center of the National Bank's Educational Foundation (108
Vasilissis Olgas Str.) as an element of the Biennale parallel program.
Stella Art Foundation is a non-commercial organization created in
November 2004 at the initiative of Stella Kesaeva. Principal purposes of the
Foundation include supporting cultural exchanges, promotion of Russian artists
and institution of a contemporary art museum in Moscow.
The Foundation is also implementing an extensive charity program.
The exhibition will be on view from 19/09-01 to 11/2009.
